George Grant

Partner, Chief Sales Officer

I buy it. I sell it.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, George Grant grew up building and selling go-karts and minibikes to the neighborhood. During his time in Boy Scouts, he earned several Merit Badges while evolving into a team leader and popcorn hustler (if you know you know). Throughout high school, George progressed into restoring motorcycles and building custom high-end audio units. While earning his BFA in Industrial Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, George stepped outside of the traditional scope by implementing cutting-edge technology such as gesture control and 3D printing through upcycling. Now, George operates as the Chief Sales Officer for Grant's Handcrafted Collection.

 Paul Hawkins

Partner, Chief Designer and Fabricator

I build it.

Paul Hawkins hails from Missoula, Montana where he and his father built cabins and canoes through his youth. At the age of 12, his parents gave him a welder for Christmas and he has been building ever since. After high school, Paul spent a year in Germany with finish carpenters honing his attention to detail and standard of quality. When he returned to the U.S., he completed his B.F.A. in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. After Paul graduated, his craftsman spirit led him to fine leatherworking and finish carpentry before becoming a partner at Grant's Handcrafted Collection. Paul currently operates as Grant's Chief Designer & Fabricator. He directs the process from first sketch to finished product.
